Roslyn Public Schools will:
Educate staff, parents, and students on symptoms of mental health needs and how to obtain assistance.
Promote social emotional learning competency and build resilience.
Help ensure a positive, safe school environment.
Teach and reinforce positive behaviors and decision-making.
Encourage good physical health.
Help ensure access to school-based mental health supports.
Facilitate school-based mental health supports.
Counselors, social workers and school based health programs will play an extremely important role in the adjustment period when buildings reopen and access to school counselors and school-based health programs become available to support our students.
At any time, parents should contact their respective school's social worker, school psychologist, and/or guidance counselor for support as their children transition back to school. Contact information can be found on each individual school's website by clicking here.
