The Hive Team Manager - Mrs Jenns
The Hive Team manager works with Heads of Year to ensure that the appropriate support is put in place for students via 1:1 therapeutic intervention and group work. Mrs Jenns is also a member of the safeguarding team at Rosebery, if you have any concerns or feel that your child would benefit from support available, please speak to your child's Head of Year or email Mrs Jenns sjenns1@glfschools.org
School Counsellor
Rosebery's School Counsellor offers a professional and confidential counselling and mental wellbeing service for students who may be experiencing personal, emotional or mental health difficulty.
Student Wellbeing Mentor - Miss Wild
Our Student Wellbeing Mentor works with students on a one to one, group, or ad-hoc basis, to support them with the help they need to assist their wellbeing and build resilience.
Student Learning & Wellbeing Support Assistant - Mrs Smith
Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions addressing a wide range of issues which may include anxiety, self-esteem and resilience.
Student Welfare Receptionist - Mrs Makaoui
The Student Welfare Receptionist is the first point of contact for all students entering The Hive. The Student Welfare Receptionist ensures that students are triaged in a timely manner, depending on their need to receive the support they require.
Health Mentor and Student Careers Guidance - Mrs Keaveney
Within their role as Health Mentor and Lead First Aider, she is able to support students who may be feeling generally unwell and ensure that appropriate first aid is given.
She is also the Careers Lead and Careers Personal Guidance Advisor across the whole school.
School Based Needs Team (SBNT)
The SBNT practitioners are in Rosebery School regualarly to supplement the existing support currently offered via The Hive.
They are an early intervention service offering a range of evidence based interventions, including guided self-help for children and young people who are experiencing low mood, anxiety and challenging behaviour.
School Nurse
Our School Nurse is available to speak to any student with medical or health concerns and an appointment can be requested via The Hive.
Mind Matters
Mind Matters is an NHS Talking Therapies Service, providing help and support for people over the age of 17, who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, depression or other mental health concerns.
Suzie Reed, CBT Therapist, is based in school once a week .
Pet Therapy Dog - Bella
Our latest addition to The Hive team is Bella, who is able to offer support to students and aid in reducing student stress and anxiety. Bella attends school once a week on a Thursday and offers students small group or one to one sessions.
