Mindworks Surrey – the new name for Surrey’s emotional wellbeing and mental health service for children and young people. The site provides children, young people, families and carers with information about services, advice and resources. It is a source of essential information, including how to ask for help in a crisis via the 24/7 Crisis Line.
Childline can offer advice and tips to support your mental health and find ways to cope and a 1:1 chat with a counsellor from 9am - 10:30pm.
NHS site with expert advice and practical tips to help you look after your mental health and wellbeing.
The Mix provides essential support for under 25's. They are able to help you take on any challenge you’re facing - from mental health to money, from break-ups to drugs. You can talk to them via their online community, social media or use their free confidential helpline or counselling service.
The Samaritans website provides support and advice if you are having a difficult time or worried about someone else.
Heads Together is a mental health initiative spearheaded by the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, which combines a campaign to tackle stigma and change the conversation on mental health.
Young Minds is a charity who run a free, confidential helpline, and offer support and advice for anyone struggling with their mental health.
Beat is the UK's eating disorders charity. Their website provides information and advice for those that are struggling with an eating disorder or supporting someone who is.
Kooth is an anonymous site which helps children and young people to feel safe and confident in exploring their concerns and seeking professional support.
STEM 4 provide information in a number of areas to support teenage mental health including self harm and addiction. As well as their website they have a number of apps including Combined Minds, a free app to help families and friends provide mental health support.
Shout 85258 is a free confidential text messaging service for anyone in the UK. Their website provides information about their text service and the issues they can support with.
No Panic offers relaxation and breathing techniques, a helpline, resources and a dedicated Youth Hub area on the site.
OCD Action provide support and information to anybody affected by OCD. Offering confidential, unbiased support via their helpline or email service. This site includes information about OCD and related disorders.
Frank offers honest information about drugs, what to do in an emergency and how to help if you are worried about a child and they offer a 24 hour confidential advice via email, phone or text.
Mind offers information and support for those living with a mental health problem or supporting someone who is.
