Parochial and Private School Students

Resident students who attend private or parochial school must register in the school district in order to receive transportation and/or textbooks, as well as other support services (i.e. students who require special education or Section 504 support). Please note that all students attending private and/or parochial schools need to provide proof of residency each year. If a student moves during the school year, please notify the District (jenniferagresto@rockypoint.k12.ny.us) as soon as possible to update your student records. Please see the Transportation Department webpage for more information regarding transportation to a private school.

Required Documentation:

1. Proof of residency

Provide One of the Following Items:

• Lease

• Deed

• Mortgage Statement

• Landlords’ Affidavit of Occupancy (if applicable) 

• Other Affidavits or documents (if applicable) 

Provide Two of the Following Items:

• Pay stub

• Electric bill

• Voter Registration

• Water bill

• Driver's License/Non-Driver ID Card

• Cable bill

• Bank Statement

• Gas bill

• Car Insurance/Registration

• Other official document

2. Student Registration Form / Formulario de inscripción de estudiantes

3. Photo identification of Parent/Guardian registering the student

4. Residency Questionnaire / Cuestionario de Residencia
