ALICE Evacuation

Today's Advisory will be about an hour long to accommodate the walk to Sunnycrest. Please see the revised schedule below.

The entire school will be practicing an ALICE evacuation today so that students will know where to meet at Sunnycrest Park in the event of an evacuation. Please review the schedule carefully:

• Officer Raymond will begin the Advisory with an introductory presentation on Google Meet (https://meet.google.com/nyu-qdub-hfn?hs=224) at the beginning of Advisory.

• Following the Google Meet, you will have a moment to show the diagram of Sunnycrest Park (see below). Choose a meeting place in your designated area:

  • • • If your fire drill location is in the front of the school, select a location in the parking lot at Sunnycrest

      • If your fire drill location is in the back of the school, select a location on the Sunnycrest baseball field

• An announcement will be made to dismiss the school and head to the park. RHPD will be assisting to ensure safety on the walk to and from the park.

• Meet in your assigned location and make sure all members of your homeroom are present.

• When the signal is given, return to the high school. 

• If time remains during Advisory, practice as a homeroom how to barricade the door.

NOTE: Students on crutches and in walking boots should report to Mary Oberndorfer's room (2074) when everyone else heads to the park. These students should have received an email from Renee Garrahy.
