Thank You Letters

Homerooms will write Thank You letters to the veterans who visited during the previous Advisory. In the past, our speakers have been very appreciative of the letters. Students can offer their thanks, as well as wish the vets a nice holiday season.

• Letterhead is provided below for those who would like to use it. Feel free to print copies for your class or make a copy to post to your Google Classroom, if students prefer to type them. Homerooms can also make cards, if you choose.

• The list of speakers is below so you have their names.

• Each student should write their own letter.

• Students can sign letters with their first names.

• Please proofread the letters for content and set aside any with a note that you are unsure of. 

• Give all letters to Amy (room 2073) by the end of the day on Monday, November 17th. Please note your homeroom number.

  • • • If you attended the presentation in the gym with the service dogs, we will divide the letters and send a stack to each speaker. Students can write a generic letter to the group or to a specific person. If anyone does write a letter to a specific speaker, please put it on the top of your pile with a note.
