My Goals for the Class:

1. Help students develop self-confidence, independence, responsibility, interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.

2. Encourage a commitment to be kind, helpful, responsible, and respectful to others.

3. Foster a true sense of inquiry and a love of learning.

4. Build a sense of community where diversity is respected and appreciated.

5. Continue building the educational foundation necessary for life long success.

6. Laughter. To demonstrate learning can be fun, exciting and even enjoyable.

Why I Love Teaching:

I love it when students have an "AHA" moment, when they finally understand a concept after they have worked hard to figure out.
