Introduction to the RCS Personalized Learning Framework
The first goal of Rockingham County Schools’ Vision 2020 Strategic Plan states that we will “Develop [a] personalized mastery-approach to learning for each child to graduate prepared for work, further education and citizenship.” To that end, we want students to THINK, READ, WRITE, TALK, and DO – Everyday in Every Classroom.This common framework for personalized learning for students is built upon the foundations of our North Carolina Standard Course of Study and the commitment,expertise, analysis, collaboration, and reflection of our teachers.
