South End students will receive a combination of direct and indirect AIG services based on students' needs through resource, co-teaching, and teacher support for planning/differentiation and data analysis.
Grades 4 and 5: AIG students will receive direct services in English Language Arts and Mathematics through co-teaching with the classroom teacher and/or small groups. Services are expected to occur continuously in face-to-face sessions. We will use Google Classroom and digital tools for our assignments and lesson materials on a frequent basis.
AIG lessons are scheduled during the I/E block or during the core instructional class period.
Push-in (co-teaching) services may be included for Reading and Math: two sessions per week each for reading and math
Indirect Services: Data analysis and co-planning
Grades K-3 informally identified AIG students will be served indirectly through data analysis meetings, instructional planning support, and consultation sessions with classroom teachers. Coteaching lessons with the instructional coach are available for teachers.
