Welcome to the South End Elementary's AIG Website    

    As you consider how to meet your child's unique learning needs, you may be seeking answers to many questions, such as:

• How can I recognize possible giftedness in my child/student?

• What is the process for identifying and placing students in the AIG program?

• What does the law say about AIG services in schools?

• What district and school-level policies and procedures are currently in place?

• How can I advocate effectively for my gifted student?

• What instructional methods are effective for gifted students?

    This site will provide answers to these and other questions to inform you of AIG policies and procedures.
