What is the Student Engagement Center (SEC)?
The Randolph-Macon College Student Engagement Center is the heart of campus involvement, leadership, housing, and community connection. In addition to offering programs that foster engagement and leadership development, the center supports residential life and creates vibrant living-learning environments where students can thrive. Through events, service opportunities, student organizations, and intentional community-building initiatives in campus housing, the Student Engagement Center empowers Yellow Jackets to find their passions, build lasting relationships, and make a meaningful impact within the RMC community.
Join the campus community for the Yellow Jacket Community Cookout at Activities Carnival, a feast full of customizable favorites. Build your perfect plate at stations like the Burger Bar with beef, turkey, or veggie options, the Mac and Cheese Bar with savory add-ins, and the Nacho Bar loaded with toppings. Through interactive discussions, role-playing, and educational presentations, Safe Zone Training equips attendees with the knowledge and skills to become effective allies and advocates.
Upon completion of the training, participants receive a Safe Zone sticker that they can proudly display to signify their commitment to providing a safe space for all individuals.
