Take on the giant water slide and obstacle course, then refuel at a campus-wide dinner featuring a Low Country Seafood Boil, walking taco station, DIY Caesar salads, and sweet treats served by the Student Government Association at the ice cream stand.
What is the Student Engagement Center (SEC)?
The Randolph-Macon College Student Engagement Center is the heart of campus involvement, leadership, housing, spirituality, service, well-being, belonging, health promotion, and community connection. What is the Higgins Academic Center (HAC)?
The Randolph-Macon College Higgins Academic Center (HAC) provides academic guidance to students at every phase of their education journey. Working with both undergraduate and graduate learners, the HAC offers holistic support through advising, development, and coaching in a variety of subjects and skills. Access to a comprehensive campus experience is provided with accommodation support from disability services, and students receive Up Close encouragement as they navigate the transitions into and through higher education before entering the community as Future Ready Yellow Jackets.
During Welcome Week, the Student Engagement Center Walmart Shuttle offers all students a special opportunity to get settled in by providing transportation to Target and Walmart for shopping essentials. This service helps incoming and returning students stock up on groceries, residence hall supplies, and other necessities.
