California Department of Education Committee Information
Each California public school, grades kindergarten through 12, with 21 or more English learners must form an English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) with parent members elected by parents or guardians of English Learners in the same percentage of membership as English Learner children represent in the student body. Please note that ELAC must hold a minimum of five meetings.
If you have any questions about ELAC or need help using the templates on this page, please contact Carolina Michel or Lisa Palmer.
