RUSD Civics Showcase

Each year students in Riverside Unified complete civic engagement projects that connect many areas of study in which students regularly engage. These projects may apply to science, technology, engineering, policy, economic, social, environmental, or other areas where society intersects with academics. Students have posed questions, researched, applied their new knowledge, revised their thinking, and taken action. This year, we will highlight the high quality civic work compiled by students at STEM High School. Be sure to watch the mini-documentary videos embedded within these presentations. We commend them on taking positive action to improve society!

The Green Team at Riverside STEM Academy High School submitted their project to, and was featured in the Mikva Challenge Action Civics National Showcase. They did a great job representing STEM HS and RUSD!
