Once you have logged-in to your Google Classroom page, students will have the opportunity to attend classes virtually using Google Meet.
The Google Meet link is located in the banner at the top of your Google Classroom page when in the Stream. To enter into the virtual class, please click JOIN NOW. Once you have joined, there are expectations that you need to follow for a positive classroom experience:
Please show up at the correct time & stay for the entire Meet session.
Find a quiet area away from distractions like TV, music, siblings, pets, etc.
Mute your microphone until you are called upon.
When the Meet session, please keep your camera on until role is taken by the teacher. You may turn it off at that point if you wish.
If you have a question, please ask it in the chat feature. Inappropriate and non-educational content will not be tolerated.
If you are responding to the teacher in the Meet session, use their proper name. If you are responding to a peer, please use their first name.
Don't chew gum or eat food while in the Meet session.
Hang up at the end of the Meet session.
NOTE: Please understand that Meet sessions may be recorded by the teacher to post on Google Classroom. Anything that you say or do could be recorded.
