College Information

College visits are strongly suggested during a student's junior year.  Hopefully, from those visits, students and families will have a good idea of what schools to apply to during senior year.  Many schools have application deadlines in the fall, so there is often not much time for visits during the senior year.  Click here for a list of questions and considerations that you may want to review before setting up and attending a college visit.  

There are many places to go online to get helpful college information.  School websites are good but are meant to sell the school and are, on occasion, difficult to navigate.  Listed below are some websites that have helpful and well organized information for students in the search for a college.  

College Navigator - A good, quick summary of the basic information about schools across the country.

College Board - Another good site with basic information from schools across the country.

College Niche - A great site with information about individual schools posted by students.  A great place to post and research information about a school from the people who are experiencing it.

Collegewise - Offers different webinars on the college experience for students and parents.
