Welcome to the 5th grade learning site!
I am very excited to be working with the fifth graders this year! We will be starting off the year getting to know each other, setting routines, and building independence with the resources and tools we will be using throughout the school year.
Please check your child's schedule for daily meetings, small group times, and optional zoom meetings with specials teachers.
Daily Framework for Learning:
Daily we will be having a morning meeting (9;30-10:00) and a whole group lesson (10:15-11:00). There will be independent work for the students to complete during the day. Each day I will have a set time for my office hours. Each day has different times, so please check over your child's schedule to see when I will be on Zoom ready to help! Individual conferences or support times are available upon request as well.
Monday/Wednesday/Friday there will also be small group meetings occuring in the morning. Please check your child's schedule to see if they are meeting with me at 8:15, 8:45 or 11:30.
Fridays there will be an optional math game time in the afternoon from 2:00-2:30. I hope that your child will be able to make it to some game times!
