The Ritsumeikan Super Global Forum 2025 will run from November 9–13, 2025, with participants arriving on November 8 and departing on November 14. Each day of the forum is designed to combine academic exchange, cultural interaction, and global collaboration.
Throughout the week, participants will also take part in school exchange activities, enjoy local hospitality through hotel or homestay experiences, and engage with peers from 20 schools across 15 countries.

Discussion 1
Day 2 (Nov 10): Workshops, collaborative sessions and cultural exchange. Students engage in workshops, group discussions, and collaborative sessions based on the five subtopics of this year’s theme. They share perspectives, debate challenges, and begin drafting practical action plans. In addition, participants will enjoy a taste of Japanese culture through hands-on experiences such as kimono wearing, tea ceremony, and calligraphy.

Day 3 (Nov 11): Fieldwork in Kyoto.
Participants will explore the theme of “Coexistence” through fieldwork in Kyoto. In mixed international groups, they will visit places where people, nature, and traditions live together in harmony, discovering how coexistence is practiced in everyday life.
Throughout the fieldwork, participants will have opportunities to interact with local communities, learn from Kyoto’s rich culture, and enjoy the beauty of historical sites such as Kiyomizu Temple and Arashiyama. This experience will encourage participants to think deeply about what coexistence means in different contexts.

Day 4 (Nov 12): Cultural Exchange Day, including student performances that showcase traditions, music, and creativity from around the world.
