PhilHealth implements the National Health Insurance Program that aims to provide Filipinos with financial assistance and access to affordable health services. It covers hospital costs, subsidies for room and boarding, medicine, and professional services. 

PhilHealth aims to: (1) rapidly ensure that all people have the opportunity to gain access to the health services they need at every stage of life without the risk of financial ruin; and (2) make the program sustainable in the long run through effective revenue collection and efficient purchasing ability.

How to update Marital Status and Beneficiary in Philhealth

Requirements:

Accomplish the Philhealth Member Registration Form or PMRF together with a copy of your requirements and submit it to any Philhealth branch. The revised PMR Form shall be used for the registration of new members and to update and/or amend the member data record of existing members in the Phi! Health membership database following the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 11223 (Universal Health Care Act).
