The Iris Mobile App can be used while your device is offline and will upload the changes you made while offline when your device has an internet connection again.
There are a few items to note about using the app Offline:
You must have signed in to the app while you were online. The app will automatically sign you in while you are offline if you haven't logged out. If you are logged out of the app or are signing in for the first time you must have an internet connection, this cannot be done offline.
When you regain an internet connection, the app must be open to upload any changes made offline.
Batch details cannot be edited while in offline mode.
You can add batches, in movements, out movements, mortality, add new treatment records, add notes, and close/open batches while offline and your changes will be applied when you have an internet connection again.
While the device is Offline an orange banner will appear to let you know you're using the app in offline mode.
Batches added in Offline Mode will have an Offline icon next to them in the batch list in the navigation. Changes made in Offline Mode (that are not yet applied) appear on the Pending Changes screen. These will be applied when the device is connected to the internet again.
If you want to remove any pending changes, swipe left on it, click Delete. It will then be removed from the pending changes list.
