Click on the name of the batch you want to add the Treatment to from either the Farm Details page or the side navigation (shown below).
This will open the Batch Details page.
Click Treatment Record.
Click Add New Treatment Record.
Select a Start Date.
Enter Identification IDs.
Click Save.
The Treatment Record dialog will appear.
The following information is required to create the Treatment Record:
Start Date: Enter the start date of the treatment.
End Date: Enter the end date of the treatment.
Product: Select the product used for the treatment.
Number of Animals Treated: Enter the number of animals treated.
Average weight of animals in Kg: Enter the average weight of the animals in Kgs.
Amount of feed & units: Enter the amount of feed and select the unit of measure from the drop down list.
Dosage & units: Enter the dosage and choose the unit of measure from the drop down list.
Reason for Product Usage: Select the reason for product usage from the drop down list.
Withdrawal Period (Days): Enter the withdrawal period in days.
Safe Shipping Date: Select the safe shipping date for the pigs treated.
Initials: Enter your initials.
Note: The fields that appear will depend on the method of administration chosen on the treatment record.
Once the required information is entered, click Save to finish creating the Treatment Record.
Once saved, the treatment record will appear under the Treatment Record tab on the batch details page.
The Safe Shipping Date will also be set on the batch details page. The safe shipping date displayed here is the latest of the safe shipping dates from all of the treatment records on the batch.
Treatments can also be edited from the Batch Details page → Treatment Record tab by clicking the Edit Pencil icon beside the treatment that you want to edit.
If the product on the treatment was edited, you will receive a message outlining the product changes on the treatment record. Click Yes to continue and save the updated treatment record.
Click the ☰ to open the navigation drawer in the app, click on the batch you want to add the Treatment to.
Select the Treatment Record tab, click on the + Add new treatment record button.
The New Treatment Record dialog will appear.
The following information is required to create the Treatment Record:
Start Date: Select the start date of the treatment.
End Date: Enter the end date of the treatment.
Animal, Pen & Room ID: Enter the animal, pen or room ID of the animals being treated.
Method: Select the method of administration from the drop down list.
Average weight of animal(s) in Kg: Select the method of administration from the drop down list.
# Hogs Treated: Enter the number of animals being treated.
Product: Select the product being used for the treatment from the drop down list. This will default to the current number of animals on the batch.
Dosage & Units: Enter the dosage and choose the unit of measure from the drop down list.
Reason: Select the reason for the product usage from the drop down list.
Withdrawal Period (Days): Enter the withdrawal period in days.
Safe Shipping Date: Select the safe shipping date for the pigs treated.
Initials: Enter your initials.
Note: The fields that appear will depend on the method of administration chosen on the treatment record.
Once the required information is entered, click Save to finish creating the Treatment Record.
Once saved, the treatment will appear under the Treatment Record tab on the batch details page. It will also display it's status, whether it's planned, in progress or completed.
Each treatment can be edited by clicking the Edit pencil beside it or it can be deleted by clicking the Delete button beside it.
