Mortality alert thresholds can be set on groups and farms to alert you if a batch within the group/farm exceeds the mortality threshold. By default, farms will use the same thresholds as the group they're part of however; this can be changed in the farm settings.
To receive mortality alerts you must already have a batch created and have the group and farm threshold set.
Alerts will appear on the Group Details, Farm Details and Batch Details screens. Group admins can acknowledge alerts by clicking on them. The screenshot below shows two alerts, one that has been acknowledged (grey text) and one that is unacknowledged (black text). The number in the red circle next to the alerts title indicates how many unacknowledged alerts are present.
Group Level:
Click Edit Group.
Mortality Alert (total): Enter the total number of mortalities for a batch that will trigger an alert.
Mortality Alert (weekly percent): Enter the total mortality percentage (weekly) for a batch that will trigger an alert.
Farm Level:
Click Edit Farm.
By default, you will see that the Use Group Mortality Notification Settings option is selected. When selected the farm will use the same mortality thresholds as the group.
Uncheck the checkbox to set Mortality Thresholds on the farm that are different from the ones on the group
You'll now be able to enter the following Mortality Thresholds for the selected farm:
Mortality Alert (total): Enter the total number of mortalities for a batch that will trigger an alert.
Mortality Alert (weekly percent): Enter the total mortality percentage (weekly) for a batch that will trigger an alert.
Alerts can be found in the following locations:

The screenshot below outlines a few sample Alerts:
The Red Counter near the alerts title indicates how many unacknowledged alerts there are.
The First Alert shows an unacknowledged alert, these are defined by black text
The Second Alert shows an alert that has been acknowledged, these alerts are defined by grey text
Users with the Group Admin role can acknowledge alerts.
From the Group Details, Farm Details or Batch Details page, click on an Unacknowledged Alert to acknowledge it. If you're on the Group or Farm Details page you will be taken to the batch that triggered the alert after acknowledging it.
The screenshot to the right shows two unacknowledged alerts on the Farm Details screen, the second screenshot shows after one of the alerts has been acknowledged.
If there are multiple alerts that you'd like to acknowledge at once (on the Group or Farm Details page) you can do so by selecting Mark all as Read in the top right corner of the alerts section.
All unacknowledged alerts will then be acknowledged.
To minimize/maximize the Alerts screen, click the arrow on the right side of the screen.
Group Admins can view and acknowledge alerts in the mobile app. Veterinarians and Farm Admins can view alerts in the mobile app.
Alerts can be found on the Farm Details screen and the Batch Details screen. Alerts are represented by the Alerts (bell) icon in the top right corner.
The number within the alerts icon represents the number of unacknowledged alerts for that farm/batch.
To view all alerts for a farm or batch, click the Alerts icon.
Alerts that have not been acknowledged have the bell icon beside them for group admins.
Group admins can click the icon to acknowledge the alert, or click the Mark all as read button to acknowledge all alerts on the page.
