Providing an Inclusive and Equitable K-12 Classroom using Book Creator

Participants will need their laptops. Have you found a program that supports all learners to read, write, and interact all in one and for all content areas? Book Creator is for all K-12 students. This tool can be used to help support diverse learners to stay engaged through all K-12 content areas. Students will be able to participate in the grade-level content by using Book Creator to help them to interact with various supports built in and they can create their own books to show mastery of content. Book Creator can be used to enrich, reteach, or to present information to students. They can share their responses with the class, groups, or pairs. This is a very useful resource for project-based or blended learning environments.
Participants will be able to see some examples of classroom lessons templates used, student work samples, and experience the power of Book Creator.
Using Discovery Education Resources to Support Health and Wellness

I will present StoryJumper which can be linked to google classroom. Students can use StoryJumper to write and publish books. Teachers can create a StoryJumper classroom and have students write with a sense of a wider audience. Storyjumper comes with the tools you need to create a book and even a voice recorder to make an audiobook. There are a lot of advantages to using StoryJumper to get your classes writing again!
