Complete a minimum of 220 semester credits.

Complete the minimum course requirements, as outlined below, each semester of a class passed equals 5 credits (a grade of “D” or higher is considered passing):

*ALL Seniors at Carter High School are required to take a math class for their senior year regardless of whether or not they need it for graduation.  We require our seniors to take math because ALL colleges (2 year, 4 year, private, and public) advise that taking a year off of math is not in a student's best interest for transitioning from high school to college.

*PE Waiver is available for grades 10-12.  1 sports season completed is equivalent to 5 credits waived.  Student is responsible to comunicate with counselor upon completion of the season during that school year.
