If everyone spends $5 - $8 (an average-priced book fair title), we can reach our goal! 50% of the proceeds will go towards the DCMS Media Center to help purchase new resources for everyone to enjoy. Every small purchase adds up to make a big impact! We appreciate your support! There are items available for all ages from preschool through adult. The average price of a book fair title is $8, but there are bargain books available starting at just $3!
All ELA classes are scheduled to visit the fair. Plus, the book fair will be open to shop during mornings, lunches, or with a pass from a teacher. You can pay for book fair purchases with cash, credit card, check (payable to DCMS), eWallet, or tap-to-pay. Families are welcome to shop the fair during the evening on April 22nd (6-7 pm) & April 23rd (5:30-7 pm). Family members may also visit during school hours or by appointment with Mrs. McMichael.

This is a fun opportunity to kick-off our fair. You will be able to hear more about the books that will be available, as well as have a chance to win a $5 gift certificate to spend at the fair! Book Fair BINGO will be a morning event on Friday, April 17th from 7:45 - 8:10 am. Sign up in advance using your Canvas calendar.
Families will find everything available at the online Book Fair and much, much more! You can choose from thousands of books, including new releases and exclusives, and search by grade, age, format, character, and series. Scholastic will ship online purchases to your home, and standard shipping is free on book-only purchases over $35. After the Fair, eWallet funds turn into an eGift Card to shop online. The Media Center receives 25% of online sales.

You do have the option to add additional funds using a credit card.
Consider supporting our teachers by purchasing books from their wish lists. If you are not able to shop in person, you are welcome to set up eWallet funds to go towards their classroom libraries. Thank you for sharing book joy! They get so excited about books!
Share the Fair is the giving program built into the Scholastic Book Fair, empowered by contributions from people like you! These funds support students at our school who need help getting new books. Your contribution helps even more kids take home a book from the fair and experience “book joy.” You can make a flat donation or round up your purchases.
