Outreach work in 2021 has been adapted around the use of Zoom while waiting for the pandemic impact to lose its grip. We could not achieve the Outreach planned events as the town has been locked down intermittently throughout the year. But by the grace of God, we managed to gain a large number of stable participants joining our Community Services (CS) programs and MSG resumed most activities via Zoom meetings.
With the use of Zoom, our outreach and CS program participants stretched from Richmond Hill to Ottawa, Peru and all the way to the UK. In some programs, we were blessed to attract over 25% attendants being non-believers. We are positive that there are seekers joining the CS programs consistently throughout the year. And we ask that you pray for them to open up their hearts for the Gospel.
We are thrilled to share with you that the Mandarin Speaking Group (MSG) made a lot of progress in organizing their worship and other church activities. They started to have their own doxology since March and resumed in-person worship at Church since August. While MSG continued to have their weekly Bible study online meetings, biweekly fellowship gatherings via Zoom, we have refreshed their worship space at Church in Q3 of 2021. We ask that you continue to pray for newcomers joining the MSG in 2022.
