This course will include a thorough review and extension of essential French grammar and style that will be complemented by thematic vocabulary. Some topics of conversation and role-playing will include travel, household chores, directions, professions, current events, art and cuisine. Cultural units include, but are not limited to, the European Union, French Impressionism, and the geography and culture of the francophone world, with particular emphasis on Europe, Africa and Quebec. Students will be expected to engage themselves in their writing, listening, speaking and reading skills on a daily basis.
