Participation in this class is made through PPT decision. This course will provide meaningful opportunities for students to develop and apply consumer-based math skills and strategies needed to be successful in their postsecondary experiences. Students will increase their understanding of the math skills necessary for dealing with daily living tasks such as budgeting, living expenses, housing, banking and savings, paychecks, credit cards, buying and preparing food, renting and leasing a vehicle and comparison shopping. This course contributes to the graduation requirements for mathematics and may be repeated for credit.
