Week of Sept. 3-6th- 7th grade- Edhesive assignments 1.1-1.3 8th grade- Engineering Design Process

Week of Sept.9-13th-7th grade- Edhesive assignments1.4-1.6, and intro to robotics 8th grade- Research and Design- collaborative mold design.

Week of Sept. 16-20th- 7th grade- Edhesive assignment 1.7 and continuation of robotics 8th grade- Collaborative mold design. Due 9/19

Week of Sept. 23 - 27th- 7th Grade Edhesive 1.7 and 1.8- Module test next week 8th grade- Plastics molding, design for CNC and Laser engraver- Mold testing next week.

Week of Sept. 30- Oct 4th- 7th Grade Edhesive 1.8 wrap up and Module test, Robotics- Pick up and move an object. 8th grade- TESTING molds Monday and Tuesday, Continue design on CNC and laser engraver.

Week of Oct. 7- Oct.11th- 7th Grade robotics- Can you make the robot move and pic up objects and use a sensor to react to an object in their path. 8th Grade- Re-Testing molds. CNC, Laser Engraver, and scroll saw safety. (Safety Quiz Friday)

Week of Oct. 16-18th- 7th Grade Edhesive Module 2- 2.1-2.3, 8th Grade- Production of CNC and Laser Engraved projects.

Week of Oct. 21-25th-7th Grade Edhesive Module 2.3-2.8, 8th grade Production on CNC and Laser Engraved projects- Projects Due Oct. 31st.

Final week of class- 7th Grade Complete Module 2 Edhesive- Module test Tuesday Oct. 29th. Robot golf to end the quarter. 8th grade- Projects due Oct. 31st. Vocabulary Quiz Nov. 1st.

Nov. 4 &6- End of Quarter 1- Reflections on project work due by Nov. 6th for all classes. See Ms. Sinosky for any make up work before Friday.

Week of Nov. 12- 8th grades students working on Engineering Design Process and Classroom safety. 7th Grade students working in Edhesive Modules 1.1-1.4

Week of Nov. 18th- 8th grade Engineering Design process asking questions and working on market research- preparation to begin modeling a mold. 7th Grade students working in Edhesive 1.5-1.7 and beginning robotics.

Week of Nov. 25th- 8th grade Engineering Design Process developing a manufacturing molding model- Due Dec. 2nd. 7th grade- Lego robotics- Make it move. Discovery lessons on how the robot commands make the lego ev3 robot move and problem solving challenges.

Week of Dec. 2nd- 8th grade Finish Engineering Design Process Collaborative Mold due Dec. 2nd, Begin design of CNC and Laser Engrave work (prototyping). 7th Grade- Finish Robotics Challenge Due Dec. 2nd, Edhesive 1.8 and Module One Test by Friday. Module 2 started.

Week of Dec. 9th-8th Grade Prototype and Iteration of 3D molds. Design and Prototype of CNC and Laser Engrave projects. 7th Grade- Module 2 Edhesive work 2.1-2.5 Any student that missed Last weeks Module 1 Test please see Ms. Sinosky to set up a time to take it.

Week of Dec. 16th- 8th Grade Design and Prototype of CNC and Laser Engrave Projects, Scroll Saw review and quiz this week. 7th grade- Module 2 Edhesive- Complete monogram and Module 2 Test (Tuesday), Robotic Sensors start Wednesday.

Week of Dec. 23rd- Winter Vacation. Enjoy time with Family and Friends.

Week of Jan 2nd- 8th Grade continue design and prototyping on CNC and Laser Engraver. Start injection mold project. 7th Grade Finalize robot sensors and start Edhesive 3.1

Week of Jan 6th- 8th Grade to continue prototyping on the CNC and Laser Engraver, Start to mold on the injection and blow molder. 7th grade Edheisve 3.2-3.6 variable and comments.

Week of Jan 13th- 8th Grade to continue finalization and construction of CNC and Laser Engraver Prototypes, Continue molding with injection and blow molders. 7th Grade Edhesive Finalize Module 3 Test Tuesday. Finish week with Module 4.

Week of Jan21st- 8th graders- Completion of all prototypes and molding. Vocabulary Test on Friday during Midterm block. 7th Graders- Complete and test on Module 4 in Edhesive. Begin Robotics final project to be completed during Midterms the 27th and 28th of January.

Week of Jan 29th- Welcome Q3 Students - Introduction to classroom expectations.

Week of Feb. 3rd- -7th grade- Edhesive assignments1.3-1.6, and intro to robotics 8th grade- Safety and Research and Design- collaborative mold design.

Week of Feb. 10th- 7th Grade- Finalize Edheisive Module 1. Test Friday Feb. 14th. 8th Grade- Design collaborative mold First iteration due by Friday Feb. 14th.

Week of Feb. 19th- 7th Grade- Begin work with Mindstorm EV3 Robots, complete tutorials and challenges. 8th Grade- Work on collaborative 3D molds. Mold testing and improvement next week.

Week of Feb. 24th- 7th Grade- Complete Robot movements and begin Edhesive Module 2. 8th Grade- 3D mold Testing on Wednesday. Begin CNC and Laser engraver design work.

Week of March 2nd- 7th Grade- Edhesive module 2.3-2.7- complete monogram by Friday. 8th Grade- 3D model retest on Wednesday. Reflection on molding due Thursday. Work on CNC and Laser engraver projects.

Week of March 10th- 7th Grade Edhesive Module 2 Test Tuesday. Robots and Sensors for remainder of week. 8th Grade- Construct CNC and Laser pojects. Scroll Saw Safety Test Wednesday.

Welcome back virtually March 26th- All complete work listed in your google classroom.
