The School District of River Falls comprehensive elementary school counseling program envisions a future where students are equipped to demonstrate positive character, utilize effective life skills, and are resilient problem solvers. They are self-motivated and actively contribute to their community as lifelong learners who strive to meet their highest potential.

The mission of the School District River Falls’ comprehensive elementary school counseling program is to deliver academic, career and social/emotional supports for all students. Through collaboration, advocacy and leadership, school counselors will implement innovative best practices that promote equitable access to a high quality education for all students. By using data and solution-focused strategies, school counselors provide a multi-level system of support that will foster students’ development as citizens of character who have the knowledge and skills necessary to meet their unique potential as lifelong learners.
