Yes, Restwell Therapy accepts Aetna, BCBS, Carelon, and Optum insurance for individuals in Arizona.
If you do not have Aetna, BCBS, or Carelon insurance or are in a PSY-PACT participating state, you may still be able to use your health insurance to cover a portion of the therapy fee by following the steps below:
Check whether you have out-of-network mental health benefits through your insurance plan. Call the number on the back of your insurance card to ask or review your coverage through your insurance's online portal. Ask what their process is to submit claims for out-of-network services.
Let me know that you will be using out-of-network insurance benefits so that I may provide you with a "super bill" for you to submit to your insurance. This is a receipt for services that includes more detailed information that you can submit to your insurance.
Pay each session out-of-pocket and submit your claim to insurance. Use your insurance's process to submit a claim after each session. You will need to wait to receive reimbursement from your insurance.
If you do want to deal with submitting claims to your insurance, you can use a service called Thrizer that will submit them for you. This services costs 1% at the time of reimbursement.
If you do not want to pay the full fee up-front, you may use a service called Thrizer that will allow you to pay only what you will owe after insurance benefits are applied. This service costs 5% of the session fee.
For more information, go to https://www.thrizer.com/for-clients
Intake (Initial Appointment): $250
50-Minute Follow-up: $200
Fees are due at the time of the appointment. Some health insurance plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits which may reimburse you for a portion of this fee, see the next FAQ for more details.
If these fees are not within your budget, please still reach out. I would be happy to connect you to other providers or resources that fit your needs.
Restwell Therapy provides therapy services completely online. Telehealth has many different names: video therapy, virtual therapy, and online therapy. It means that appointments are conducted using video conferencing through a HIPAA compliant platform. Many clients prefer the convenience of video appointments because it allows them to more easily fit it into a busy schedule. Plus, you avoid the headaches of trying to find the office, parking, traffic, etc. Most importantly, research has shown that video appointments for therapy are just as effective as in-person appointments.
Yes, telehealth therapy is confidential and maintaining this confidentiality is a top priority. Sessions are conducted through secure, HIPAA-compliant video platforms designed to protect your privacy. Just like in-person therapy, everything you share is kept private. To help maintain confidentiality on your end, it’s best to join sessions from a quiet, private space. On my end, I will also always join sessions from a quiet, private space. If you have concerns about privacy during virtual visits, I'd be happy to talk through ways to make your setup feel as secure and comfortable as possible.

Your first session is an opportunity to get to know each other. We will begin by reviewing practice policies and emergency procedures to ensure that we are on the same page and that you are agreeing to therapy fully informed of what it entails. Then we will discuss your concerns, review your personal history, and explore your goals for therapy. At the end of the first appointment, we will discuss an individualized treatment plan for you based on your needs and goals.

Yes! Some of Dr. Corley's patients have already tried cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) approaches in the past. Some have had success and are experiencing a backslide and want support returning to good sleep. Others, did not have a good experience with CBT-I and did not find it helpful for them. In the initial intake session, Dr. Corley will assess prior CBT-I experiences and provide you feedback at the end of the session on whether she thinks she will be able to help you.
