About me
Hello! My name is Mrs. Renken, and I’m excited to begin my fourth year of teaching. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Houston Baptist University with a Bachelor's degree in History and later earned my Master’s degree in the same field. I’m certified in EC-6 Core Subjects, with additional certifications in ESL and the Science of Teaching Reading.Outside the classroom, I’m married to my wonderful husband, Joshua. We love to travel and enjoy discovering new coffee shops wherever we go. I’m passionate about creating a warm, engaging learning environment and look forward to a fantastic school year together!
