This charity was formed in memory of Sara Charlton, a woman who dedicated her life to helping vulnerable women. Sara's son, Leonard Charlton, wanted to carry on his mother's good work and so set up the 'Sara Charlton Foundation' a grant making charity established in early 2011. Providing opportunities for individuals and businesses to make a tangible difference in the lives of women and children, suffering – and dying – at the hands of domestic abusers.

Leonard's mum was fearless, determined and passionate. She was known to have been the purest of characters with intense energy (rather like our Debbie!)  - she was one of a kind, but no doubt would have most definitely been one of Resolute's tribe!
