Process & Approach

Our therapy sessions will provide a kind, supportive, collaborative, and engaging space to explore where you came from, who you are, what you want, and who you want to be.  Together, we will identify your triggers and challenge negative thoughts and feelings such as insecurity, self-doubt, passivity, loneliness, shame, regret, guilt, constantly striving or comparing- "feeling small," "feeling numb," "lack of agency," or "like a shell" and unable to cope with life challenges and future uncertainty.

We will dig deep to explore and understand your past (family of origin, intergenerational trauma, childhood experiences, cultural and religious or spiritual influences, socioeconomic considerations, etc.) and accept the present with greater compassion, curiosity, resilience, optimism, and self-awareness. Your family of origin and lived experiences are special, valid, and important to process.

There is more to come with your story!
