About One-to-One Exam Preparation (Academic Coaching) at Relay

Our  One-to-One Academic Coaching program  provides students with differentiated support (determined by need and licensure exam) from an academic coach/content expert well versed in their field of study. The LEP team is excited to provide this service at no cost to Relay teacher candidates. The One-to-One Academic Coaching Program supports multilingual learners. 

To be eligible for coaching, candidates must be preparing for an exam that falls within an eligible endorsement area and complete the request form below. Due to the limited  availability of our academic coaches, we cannot guarantee that all students who request one-to-one academic coaching will be assigned an academic coach. Enrolled Relay students and alumni will receive priority for coaching. When you are assigned a one-to-one academic coach, please be prepared to begin right away and consistently attend sessions. 

Eligible endorsement areas:

• Early Childhood

• Elementary Education 

• Middle Grades / Adolescent English Language Arts

• Middle Grades / Adolescent Mathematics

• Middle Grades / Secondary Science

• Social Studies

• Students with Disabilities (EC - 12)/Special Education
