About Test Vendor Preparation Materials

Did you know that each test vendor (e.g., ETS, Pearson) provides preparation materials that explicitly tells you:

• The number and types of questions on your exam,

• The amount of time you'll have to take your exam,

• Content topics that will be assessed on your exam and the approximate percentage of questions assessed within each content topic,

• A list of objectives or standards assessed within a content topic, and

• Practice questions aligned to test objectives?

These vendor-provided preparation materials are the first place we recommend teacher candidates start in their studying, as they provide critical information about the exam and can you help you identify appropriate supports or resources for your studying. To get started...
