What I do and what I've learned from Reiki and other areas of my life and service:

• Reiki Practitioner (Master Level) with additional certification in Animal Reiki, credentialed by the International Association of Reiki Practitioners (iarp.org)

• Ordained Minister by the Universal Life Church (Separately, I am attending an interfaith seminary program, graduating in June 2021.)

• Peer Support Group Facilitator for Asheville Survivors of Suicide Loss

• NC Board Member of American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

My special areas of focus are with Animal Reiki, Reiki for Caregivers, Reiki for Grief (from loss or trauma) and Reiki for Recovery. I offer a sliding scale remote program that allows people to have Reiki sent monthly to loved ones.

I've been using Reiki personally and professionally since 2017. My experience has demonstrated Reiki to be a powerful tool that comes in a gentle form. I happen to think Reiki challenges the "no pain, no gain" philosophy. Yet, it is also not numbing to the recipient. Reiki offers a unique and often subtle experience to each individual and encourages self-healing through a deep restful state.

Reiki honors the user's way of life and natural energy flow. Explanation or understanding of one's inner process is not required or even necessary. This is something I'd like to see more in the world, in general, so my passion about Reiki comes simply and easily.
