Overview
John Winthrop Middle School provides athletic programming to support the physical, social, and educational growth of our students. We offer competitive and intramural sports to provide opportunities for students at all levels.
All students must complete required forms embedded in the ArbiterSports registration system in order to participate in any and all sports. These forms ensure that students are physically able to participate and understand the expectations of each team, coach, and program.
Prior to each season, coaches will hold an informational session for students interested in participating in interscholastic sports in order to communicate expectations, schedules, and requirements.
Our Mission
The mission of the Region 4 athletics program is to elevate all student-athletes to their greatest potential. We believe excellence in scholarship, performance, conduct and leadership is integral to interscholastic sports. We leave no one behind and accept everyone for who they are, where they come from, and where they aspire to go.
