I use these values/beliefs to drive my work as a leader.  I encourage coaches to develop and share core values and beliefs that are important to their program.  I am passionate about creating athletic experiences that serve as  a vehicle to drive positive change in young people's lives and throughout the school/local community.

Athletic/Educator Background:

• Three-sport high school captain.  Inducted to Palmyra Area High School Hall of Fame (2014)

• Earned an athletic scholarship to Division 1 - CCSU in two sports (football and baseball)

• Captain of baseball team (2004) and selected to NEC All-Conference team (2004)

  • Won three consecutive NEC championships and appeared in three NCAA tournaments

• Northeast Conference (NEC) Student-Athlete of the Year (Spring 2014) and CCSU Hall of Fame member

• Health and Physical Education Teacher at Cromwell High School (2005-2018)

• Assistant Football Coach at Cromwell High School (2005-2008)

• Head Baseball Coach at Cromwell High School (2008-2018)

  • Won 5 Shoreline Conference Championships and 1 CIAC State Championship

Athletic Director Experience:

• Director of Athletics - Clinton Public Schools (2019-2022)

  • Oversaw Grades 6-12, Evaluated 50+ Coaches, Offered 30+ Interscholastic Programs

• Director of Athletics - Regional School District #4 (2022-Present)

  • Overseeing grades 7-12, Evaluating 60+ Coaches, Offering 40+ Intramural/Interscholastic Programs

Our athletic department will be student-centered and based upon the fundamentals of an education-based athletic experience.  We strive to encourage student-athletes to aspire to reach their greatest potential.  We believe in the transformative power of the athletic experience.  Through trust and togetherness of all stakeholders, our athletic program will be second to none!
