Why math when we have calculators and smart devices?  Well, the answer is there is a lot more to math than "finding the right answer".  Math is about logic, it's about being a problem solver, and yes, quite often about accuracy in calculations.  But it's also about working together and seeing how much we know and what we still need to learn.
