This small group is offered to grades K-2 and 3-5. We focus on teaching students emotion regulation skills to respond to situations that cause strong internalizing emotions, like sadness, worry, and stress, to feel calmer and able to make helpful choices.

Below you will find an update on what your student learned in the Powered Up Coping Group session this week. The session was an introduction to the group. During this introduction, the students:
Learned about the purpose of the Powered Up Coping Group and how they will be learning and growing together.
Connected through games and questions to get to know one another.
Created Community Agreements that established group norms so that every student feels safe and supported in the group.
Learned about The Coping Process that will help them grow their confidence and overcome challenges associated with strong emotions like worry and sadness.
In our next group session, we are going to learn about:
