This year, we joyfully welcomed a new granddaughter into our family, adding to our blessings. In the face of the challenges of Grade 11, Tesh has demonstrated resilience and determination, making us immensely proud of his accomplishments.
The challenges in the classroom, particularly in teaching students with special needs. These have motivated me to expand my teaching repertoire and explore new instructional methods to better reach these students.
I'm also delving into researching fresh behaviour management strategies to enhance my classroom dynamics.
My time in Grade 4 has been truly enjoyable, reminding me of why I've always loved teaching this age group. The students' enthusiasm for learning continues to be a source of inspiration.
My collaboration with my teaching team has been constructive, and I've cherished the opportunities to learn from one another.
I truly miss my friends who have left Redhill, but their absence has brought a fresh perspective to my teaching. I've had the opportunity to hear and learn about their innovative ideas, reaffirming my belief that Redhill is undeniably a world-class school.
Additional thoughts I've been reflecting on include:
1. The potential for providing pastoral care or counseling support.
2. The immense value of our professional development (PD) sessions, which I'd like to see more especially classroom strategies to accommodate children with special needs.
3. The question of whether effective teachers who excel in their roles receive sufficient recognition and celebration. While I've received complimentary letters from parents, I wonder if there is more room for formal acknowledgment of such accomplishments. This kind of recognition not only boosts teachers' morale but also inspires them to persevere through challenging situations.
