Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted.
Connected in Christ
I love teaching at RLS because we get to incorporate biblical truths into every class. We celebrate that we are brothers and sisters in Christ, united by the Holy Spirit. We forgive each other when we make mistakes because Jesus gave His life so we can be forgiven. We treat each other with kindness and respect because we were each created in the image of God.
About me
I grew up in Western New York and studied Spanish and biology at Colgate University. After college I followed God's calling to church-planting mission work in Ecuador. When God led me to RLS, I was very excited to be able to continue sharing my love of God and my love of Spanish with others. I love exploring and learning about the world God created alongside my students. I also love being outside, going on walks with my husband and our dog, and spending time with my family.
This year at Redeemer High School I am teaching Spanish, chemistry, and theology 1. I am also the faculty adviser for the RLHS chapter of the National Honor Society. To get in contact with me, you can call me at school or email me at ahahn@redeemer-oakmont.org.
