Home Learning Timetable

Years 7/8

Home learning should be 30 - 60 minutes in duration per subject.

In addition, students may receive occasional home learning in SMSC

Students should receive 1 home learning per week in the following subjects:

English

Maths

Science

Geography

History

French

Technology

Students should receive 1 home learning per fortnight in the following subjects:

Computing/Business

Art

Performing Arts

Physical Education

Home learning should be a minimum of 1 hour in duration per subject.

In addition, staff will be setting revision and private study work for students each week.

Students should receive 3 home learning per fortnight in the following subjects:

English

Maths

Science

Students should receive 1 home learning per week in the following subjects:

Humanities (Geography or History) / Creative Crafts

French / Travel and Tourism / Functional ICT
