Broad Institute Summer Scholars Program Deadline: Jan 21, 2026
We match students with Broad scientists to conduct original, cutting-edge research projects in areas such as: cancer biology, psychiatric disease,
chemical biology, computational biology, infectious disease, and more. In addition to original research, students will get to explore scientific careers;
attend interesting scientific talks; present their research to the Broad community in a scientific poster session; attend a college fair; participate in fun
social events; and meet other students who share similar interests. Program dates: June 29 - August 7, 2026
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center's Certificate Program in Medical Research Deadline: January 15, 2026
Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is pleased to invite rising junior and senior high school students to submit applications to participate in a unique summer program that aims to educate, train and encourage the next generation of clinical, translational and outcomes researchers. This program helps students better understand research methods, ethics, regulations, career opportunities, and gain “real world” experience in an academic hospital setting. The program requirements include completion of online courses, in-person attendance at weekly lectures and Journal Club meetings, completion of practicum hours, and a final presentation of an individual research project. Physicians, principal investigators, and scientists will be paired in one-on-one mentorships to support enrolled students as they work on their research projects throughout the program duration.

Our program is designed for students who are motivated to address their academic challenges due to the increasing demands of preparing for college- level work. They will learn new techniques and understand the importance of reflecting on their learning habits. Students will also experience college life as members of a living and learning community.
Our social pragmatic track includes PEERS® instruction (PEERS® is an evidence-based social skills program). Students also receive social coaching to support them applying the skills from their weekly lessons. Parents are encouraged to participate in a weekly, online, evening session to review the lessons and learn tips on how to support their student after the program and beyond.

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Deadline: April 20, 2026
Rose Power is for girls currently in 9th grade. It's a 6 day program where students will be working in Rose-Hulman's innovation centers to build confidence and skills.
Project Select is for students currently in grades 9-10. It's a one week immersive science and engineering camp for students who want to gain greater awareness of STEM fields through hands-on experience.
Operation Catapult is for students currently in grades 10-11. This is a 12-day program that lets you experience college life, meet new friends, dive into STEM projects.
Rose Accelerate is for grades 11-12. Students will expand their knowledge by taking core college coursework online and earn credits.
Ithaca College - School of Music, Theatre and Dance Application opens in Dec or Jan
The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance offers several summer opportunities for students age 14 - 18, who are entering their 9th through 12th grade year in high school (or equivalent). This is a 2-3 week residential program for the Piano Institute, Music Academy and Theatre Conservatory.
