Vulnerable Sector Check
International Students that have been in Canada for less than 6 months must present a Criminal Record/Police Information Check from their home country. Please refer to the Government of Canada website on how to get a police certificate.
International Students that have been in Canada for more than 6 months, must present a domestic Vulnerable Sector Check from their local RCMP or Police Station.
Coop Work Permit
As your program includes a mandatory practicum/field experience component, international students are required to have a co-op work permit. The CEED Centre (Ed Practicum Office) is not authorized to advise on the application or processing of these permits. To submit your permit, or for questions about your permit speak to the International Office at international@rdpolytech.ca. It is is the responsibility of International Students to ensure that they have the correct Study Permits and Coop Work Permits.
