Astronomy

FALL SEMESTER

This course is an introduction to the major topics in Astronomy, such as: light and matter, space and time, planets, stars, galaxies, and the universe. Hands-on and computer-simulated activities are included to gain laboratory experience within the regular course time. Outdoor night-time observations of the sky are also strongly encouraged.
