Third grade students chose an animal and researched characteristics about that animal, including their habitats. They then 3D modeled the animals habitat and Tinkercad. When completed, the animals and habitats were 3D printed and colored.
Third grade students learned about economics and supply and demand during Social Studies. They then 3D designed their own products, colored them, and sold them in their mini stores.
Third Grade students were able to design the inside of a snowglobe in Tinkercad. These were then 3D printed and students were able to color them with sharpies. Finally, water and glitter was added to create a wintery scene.
Students have been learning to make 3D models using Tinkercad. Thanks to a generous donation from Garmin, we have a new 3D printer that can quickly print our designs. Students had a great time brainstorming and decorating their creations.
