Common App is the most streamlined way to apply to colleges. You complete this entire application one time, then you can choose up to 20 colleges that will receive your application.

You are eligible for a FEE WAIVER so you don't need to pay the application fees for the colleges you are applying to.

It is super IMPORTANT that you remember your username/password as you will need to revisit the site frequently.

HBCU's (Historically Black Colleges & Universities) also have a common app portal. However, you do not automatically qualify for a FEE WAIVER (you have to ask for one), so be sure to reach out to your counselor to navigate that process. HBCU's offer many outstanding programs and consistently outperform non-HBCUs in student experience, affordability, and after college preparedness for Black students. HBCUs provide students something they can't get anywhere else — a diverse & inclusive community of scholarship that celebrates the richness of the entire American experience.
