Collection Maintenance 

In order to maintain a quality library collection, Library Media Specialists will periodically assess the collection to identify items that are no longer appropriate or relevant.  These materials will be discarded, or weeded, in accordance with BOE policy xxxx.  

Please note that worn or missing standard items may be periodically replaced, while out-of-date or no longer useful materials are removed from the collection.
